Scotland’s hilariously surreal stand-up DANIEL PETRIE won 2023’s Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award, featured on the BBC’s New Comedy Awards, and, in 2025, became the first Scottish comedian to be feature on the prestigious Pleasance Reserve lineup, all whilst an NHS doctor and a baked potato super-fan.
He has opened for Connor Burns’ 2024, 2025 and 2026 UK-wide tours to great acclaim including this year at the Edinburgh Playhouse, previously at Edinburgh’s Lyceum and for a run at Glasgow King’s Theatre and is a regular on the new-writing “Story Platform” project.
